Critical periods

Critical periods cover the months of February (end) in June. More than 60% of households that are affected by this situation are registered.

Cause

Explanation of the main causes:

  • Mismanagement of food products
  • The uncontrolled flow
  • High consumption of some staple foods such as corn and peanut

Vulnerable groups

The populations of Avlamè, Akiza and Koto which are further away from Zogbodomey-Center. Also, note that children who are in the 0-9 age group are also the most vulnerable.

Trends

The trend of the last ten years was better than that of the present times, thanks to the support of the social development center actors' councils and the health centers of the municipality that organize most of the public awareness sessions.

The current trend is getting worse.
